Bundle of Joy

Hi Everyone

Today I would like to share with you a scrapbook page I made using Kaisercraft paper "Mittens" from their Bundle of Joy Collection. I thought it was an absolutely gorgeous paper so had to create something with it. I used my little bundle of joy for the photo she is now 2 so not such a little bundle anymore!

This is the full page look, I have used mittens for the background and the reverse side for the two die cuts using Spellbinders Die - Timeless Rectangle. I have also matted the photo onto Kaisercraft Ballet weave cardstock with the same die cut.

Here I have used a rub-on "Precious" from my stash on the pram banner.

I added some pink and white flowers and pink ribbon from my stash.

I embossed the Kaisercraft Baby Girl flourish with Alison Ellis Embossing Powder - Baby Pink and to finish it off added the 3 pink bows from my stash.

We have these products in our store if you would like to create something yourself with this gorgeous paper.

Hope you like my page and it has inspired you! Until Next time....Olivia :)

Kaisercraft Cupboard

Hi Everyone

Hope you all had a lovely weekend! So today I have for you the Kaisercraft BTP Storage Cupboard. As soon as I saw these I just had to get my hands on one and give it a go plus I thought they were really cute!

I have seemed to stick with the Kaisercraft brand with this project wasn't planned but its worked out that way...I have used design papers from the 75 Cents collection.

First off I painted the edges with Kaisercolour black. Then the front is covered with Dime and the little drawers I have used the reverse side of the Dime paper.

The sides I decided to go with Penny and the little strip with the butterflies was the reverse side of the barcode at the bottom, I thought they would work well to cover the join in the papers.

The inside I have used Dime on the back board and tops of the shelves and Robin Egg to do the bottom of the shelves. On the sides I have used the Penny and on the inside of the doors I have used the reverse side of the Dime paper.

The knobs and handles on the drawers are from there treasure range of metal embellishments. You can embellish these further with wooden flourishes, rubons, flowers, etc if you want but I have gone for the simple look as I just loved this paper.

Hope you enjoyed my cupboard I know I had fun making it!

Until Next time....Olivia :)

In the Pink

Another weekend here already ! I've spent today in my craft room and have had a good catch up on finishing some projects, plus a bit of a tidy up as well ! The sun was shining which helped.

Today I'm sharing a baby card, made for a very special new baby girl.

The stamp is a gorgeous Whimsy Stamp 'Cradled by the Moon' and just perfect for a baby card. The Design Paper and lace doily came from my 'stash' and the little chipboard heart has been embossed with WOW Magenta Twinkle Emboss Glitter.

The flourish die is also from Whimsy 'Elegant Flourishes'.

I've distressed the card with Tim Holtz 'Spun Sugar' and flowers are a mix of 'stash' & Wild Orchids as is the lace. The Tag die is from Magnolia.

Hope you like it - send us an email at Crafters Cupboard if you'd like us to order in the Whimsy stamp or dies !

That's all from me for today - hope you are all having a wonderful weekend and maybe getting the chance to get into your craft rooms !

Enjoy

It won't be long now until our first stocks of Molly Blooms stamps arrive and we can introduce you to Molly and George.

In the meantime, here's a Tag Card made for a baby boy. I've used the Tim Holtz Alterations die Small Easel on the back to create a stand for displaying the card

Hello Everyone

Great news - it's the weekend ! Our online store burst into life today and we are asking everyone to share the news by posting our website link http://www.crafterscupboard.com.au into their website browser. If we get enough hits on Google, eventually our name will come up when searched via Google - a big challenge with so many websites out there in cyber space these days.

Today I'm going to post a card made from a Saturated Canary stamp. These little cuties are the wonderful work of Krista Smith and so hard to resist. We have a few of them in our website store right now, so go take a peak.

This is one of her digi stamp designs and she has been coloured with Copics.

at www.crafterscupboard.com.au

The design of the card is a Z card - easy to make, just fold back half the front of the card as in the pic,
decorate front & back of the fold and the inside
Attach your mounted, coloured stamp across the front fold as in the pic
Create a space inside to write your message and the job is done !

Crafters Cupboard in Australia Goes Live

Hello to all the loyal supporters of Crafters Cupboard and a big thank you to family and friends for their support during the months of work it has taken to get our new company set up, our stock ordered and our web site developed. It has been a huge learning curve, but lots of fun at the same time.

While we know we still have a long way to go, it's now time to open the doors to our Crafters Cupboard and welcome our future customers. Our strap line 'where your imagination is the key' to the cupboard was Olivia's idea - and isn't that what crafting is all about?

We hope you let us know what sort of products you are looking for - we will try and source them for you from our wide range of suppliers which is growing daily as we discover more sources for new and exciting products to assist you in creating your cards, scrapbook pages, altered art projects, mini books and anything else that takes your fancy.

Happy shopping - we hope our Facebook pages, and our blog give you some new ideas to tickle your imagination. Let us know what you think and in the coming weeks and months we will grow and improve on the variety in our store. We hope to introduce a Design Team in time, and have some challenges for you to enter. Please give us your feedback - we look forward to hearing from you.
